How to get to wallace cititraining by Tube, Mainline Train and Airport General Dryden Street runs off the east side of Drury Lane, one block north of Long Acre. Landmarks to look out for on the corner of Dryden Street are Lowlander (restaurant) and Bloch (dancewear shop). Driven by taxi? Dryden Street is a tiny street and it's on a one-way system. If you are coming in a taxi ask the driver to drop you on the junction of Drury Lane and Long Acre so that you don't have to drive around the one-way system then look a the map below to see exactly where we are. Driven and need to park? There's an NCP car park on Drury Lane underneath the New London Theatre. Drury Lane runs one-way south to north. The car park is just north of the Long Acre/Great Queen Street junction. By Tube From Holborn (Central, Piccadilly lines) 5 mins walk Take main exit onto Kinsgway. Cross the road (to Sainsbury's local) and turn left. Walk along Kingsway (heading south) to junction of Kinsgway & Great Queen Street and turn right onto Great Queen Street. Continue along great Queen Street to junction of Great Queen Street & Drury Lane. Cross Drury lane here and turn immediately right. Dryden Street is the very next left-hand road - see restaurant called Lowlander? That's Dryden Street. From Covent Garden (Piccadilly lines) 2 mins walk Exit the tube (only one exit) onto James Street. Turn left and walk to the T junction of James St & Long Acre. Turn right onto Long Acre and walk past Neal Street (1st left), Endell Street (2nd left). Turn 3rd left onto Arne Street (Cafe Nero on the corner). Take the 1st right onto Dryden Street. 2 Dryden is at the far end on the left hand side glass front office. From Leicester Square (Northen, Piccadilly lines) - 10 mins walk. Follow tube exit to Long Acre/Covent Garden. Walk along Long Acre (east) towards Covent Garden tube. Then follow direction as above from Covent Garden tube. Mainline Trains Waterloo 5- 10 mins bus/taxi/tube Euston 10-15 mins bus/taxi/tube Paddington 20-25 mins bus/taxi /tube Airports Heathrow Direct from Covent Garden tube (45 mins) Or Taxi to Paddington (20 mins), then Heathrow Express (12 mins) direct. Some airlines operate check in at Paddington and you can pay on the train. Gatwick Taxi to Victoria, then Gatwick Express (mainline train) direct to Gatwick. (1 hour total). Some airlines check-in at Victoria. London City Easily accessible by tube/bus/taxis (40 minutes). |
